Thanks, What Can I Do? | ||
You've graduated from the school of reading. Now what do you do? Most of my adult students and the parents of my younger students were so grateful after completing the phonics lessons and learning to read well that they wanted to do something. You can send a thank you note via e-mail, liz91 (at) thephonicspage (dot) org (use the @ symbol and the period with no spaces.) However, what we would really appreciate is a donation for Prison Fellowship sent in our name. Our hearts ache for those in prison. Most can't read, and even more importantly, they need access to the Bible and Christian witness. Or, pass it on! Find others who need reading help and point them to this website, starfall.com, Don Potter's Education Page, and other good phonics books and videos. Teach phonics to your friends, relatives, and neighbors who need help. Pass out reading grade level tests to everyone you know. Support policies, politicians, and teachers who support phonics. Print out my sight word page and my list of the 220 most commonly taught sight words arranged by their phonetic patterns and give them to every teacher who is teaching sight words and every parent you meet whose child is being taught sight words. Send my YouTube sight word movie to every parent whose child is being taught sight words. Join Don Potter in his campaign to spread this powerful phonics program, Blend Phonics, throughout our schools. | |
